What is the BARDO?

The Bardo is dreamtime.  It connects us with who we really are.  For centuries, the Tibetans have taught dreaming as yoga, a way to unite the whole self.  Bardo is a reflective time, a time to understand what has been and forge what will be.  This is why Bardo has been described for centuries as an intermediate state between the end of something, death, and the beginning of something else, rebirth. As long as it hides in the shadows of our minds, Bardo is a place of mystery and sometimes nightmare.

In Memories, Dreams, Reflections, Carl Jung wrote, When an inner situation is not made conscious, it appears outside as fate.”   This is how most people view death, – as their ultimate destiny.  They take it for granted that they will die, in the same way they let their dreams pass them by.  Bardo is that unknown space where unexpected change gestates.   “Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”

The BARDO DIET is a bridge for your consciousness.  Mind, Body, and Spirit unite bringing forth the Real Self.   This sense of Being is your experience of your truer nature existing beyond the temporary and the changeable.  This Real Self connects where the waking you and the sleeping you meet.

This is what 13th century mystic poet Rumi was describing when he wrote, “Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing there is a field. I’ll meet you there.”

The BARDO DIET gives you access to that field.  We call it the Stargate Field of Consciousness™.

Perhaps the greatest shift in our point of view comes as we return home, to an inner space of equilibrium.  We experience this in Delta wave, deep sleep cycles.  This is a space NREM meaning it is beyond dreamstates. It is a point of stillness.

In physics, this is called zero point, the lowest possible energy that a quantum physical system may have.   It is the energy that remains when all other energy is removed from a system.  Zero point is described in the writings of H. P. Blavatsky as the Monad.  The Vedas call it jivatma.  In the Kabbalah, it is nitzotzot, the divine sparks of consciousness.  These sparks are part of a holographic system inherent in Mind.

Holograms are photographic images that are three-dimensional and appear to have depth.  You probably carry a few in your pocket, either on dollar bills or credit cards.  Holograms are those shiny, metallic patterns with ghostly images floating inside of them.

Holograms work by creating an image composed of two superimposed 2-dimensional pictures of the same object seen from different reference points.  In reflection holograms, the kind of holography that can be viewed in normal light, two laser beams and a photographic plate are used to take an image of the object.  One beam illuminates the object from the side while the second beam, called a reference beam, travels through a photographic plate directly to the object.   Both the reflecting light from this reference beam and the light reflected by the object from the side beam leave images on the photographic plate.  That combined image is a hologram.

Dreams are holographic images in consciousness.  When we sleep, only our conscious, waking mind rests.  The remainder of our consciousness goes about its cyclic work – restoring and rejuvenating the energies we used during our day’s experiencing and assimilating their content.  This assimilation occurs as a cooperative venture between the two reflective lights.

The Holographic Blueprint is the reflecting light from the reference beam.  The previous day’s experience is the light reflected by the object from the side beam.  The combined image reveals in a holographic dream how the experience related to fulfillment of the blueprint.  This is why some dreams are welcomed sojourns in heavenly space while others are dreaded nightmares.  So it is when we are unconscious of the Bardo, this intermediate stage between asleep and awake.

Choosing to become aware of this twilight time affords the dreamer direct access to the inner worlds by building conscious bridges.  The BARDO DIET is a conscious bridge for real change in you and your life.
