Did you know that what you eat affects your EQ as well as your IQ? EQ stands for Emotional Quotient, the fastest growing area of human development. Your emotions have a lot to do with eating habits, but then your emotions touch every thought you spark into existence!
Have you ever been so hungry that once the food arrived, you ate it so fast you didn’t remember tasting it? Or maybe you’ve been so hurt or upset that you hid in your room and ate a whole bag of chips or cookies, or both! Or maybe you aced an assignment at school or won a sporting challenge, so your mom or dad took you out for your favorite dessert to celebrate. Then there are special meals – holidays with families, lunches with clients – where you feel obligated to eat. These are all examples of emotional eating. They begin to reveal how we think about food, and how we feel about it.
Why we eat is often a bigger factor in our health than what we eat. Food is potential energy that needs to be used by the body. When you use what you take in, energy is kinetic, it keeps moving. When you mind is awake and alert, you don’t hoard energy, overstocking, which in the body means fat storage.

The Rejuvenating Strength of Hydrogen
Did you know that the width of your outstretched arms is the same as your height? If you put your legs out to the side and stretch out your arms (like the upper set of arms in the drawing by Leonardo Da Vinci), a perfect circle fits around your body with its centre at your navel. The human body is governed by the phi ratio (1.618). The length of each bone in the body has a phi ratio to the next bone. The same ratio occurs with all your fingers and toes. Nothing in the human body is arbitrary. The length of your hand in is a phi ratio to the length of your lower arm, as is the length of the foot to the lower leg bone, and so on throughout the body.
Your physical human body is a wondrous creation. It is a self-regulating system which has automated its most essential functions. It can repair itself when injured. it can defend itself against viruses and illnesses which would attack its internal organisms. The physical body is a miracle of creation in itself. Beyond what we can see and touch are inner worlds filled with wonder.
